It was April 1998. After being arrested in Beverly Hills for “lewd conduct” for propositioning an undercover cop for sex, George Michael sat down with CNN for an interview to discuss the arrest as well as his sexuality, which, up until then, he had kept ambiguous.

When asked about that ambiguity, 34-year-old Michael replied, “It works very successfully in pop culture because it means, especially if you’re trying to communicate something emotional, or sexual, that you’re communicating with both men and women…My sexuality was not cut and dried.”
Later in the interview, Michel said that he didn’t have his first gay relationship until he was 27.

“I spent the first half of my career being accused of being gay when I hadn’t had anything like a gay relationship,” he explained. “So I spent my years growing up being told what my sexuality was … which was kind of confusing.”
He continued: “I want to say that I have no problem with people knowing that I’m in a relationship with a man right now. I have not been in a relationship with a woman for almost 10 years.”

And as for the arrest and everyone learning that, yeah, OK, he’s gay, Michael said: “I think having done something as stupid as that…I’m a very proud man. I want people to know that I have not been exposed as a gay man in any way that…I don’t feel any shame. I feel stupid and I feel reckless and weak for having allowed my sexuality to be exposed this way. But I don’t feel any shame whatsoever and neither do I think I should.”

When I was 14 to 19 years old from 1984 to 1989, I liked listening to Wham! In 2016, I listen to Ariana Grande, Meghan Elizabeth Trainor, Justin Drew Bieber, Zayn Javad Malik, Fifth Harmony, Taylor Allison Swift etc. as music is best when it comes out first time.

@abnerb: what the hell are you talking about? He was arrested for exposing himself in the bathroom to an undercover police officer. He paid a finexpensive and did community service. He didn’t go to jail over it. I hate it when people spew a bunch of crap that isn’t true. The rest of your post also makes no sense…. smh

But chances are that he had sex in public bathrooms before, only that time he got caught soliciting undercover cop. Public bathrooms aren’t the place for sex. If you want to have sex (straight, lesbian or gay) with a knowing & willing adult, then do that in your own house. With could George Michael or Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou been a victim of gay pedophiles as a boy? We don’t know his childhood but if it’s true, then it wouldn’t be surprising.
I have thought about this & don’t think any1 can rebut conclusion that childhood sex abuse victims of gay/lesbian pedophiles have more risk of turning out gay/lesbian by copying the conduct they learned because think you know that conduct incl. sexual conduct can be learned. Think you know it is possible for people who are victims of same sex molestation (such as victims of gay pedophile priests) to copy this sexual conduct and do gay conduct in adulthood incl. turn out to be gay pedophiles.
