Oz The Great and Powerful is set before Judy Garland stumbled her way down the Yellow Brick Road high on a cocktail of diet pills and boundless talent, when the Wizard of The Wizard of Oz was just an enterprising multi-hyphenate killing time between earning doctoral degrees and making experimental queer cinema.

Starring James Franco, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams and Zach Braff and directed by Evil Dead/Spider-Man maestro Sam Raimi, Oz The Great and Powerful will make its way into theaters on March 13.
