Raven – I haven't followed everything in this case, but isn't it true that Andrade not only has a fiancée, but that he hooked up with Angie via a networking site that caters to Gays/Lesbians/Bisexuals/Transgenders? Isn't it also true that Andrade knew for days that Angie was born biologically male?

Like wow reading some of the comments on here honestly it makes me sick to my stomach. Being trans and not being upfront about it isn't wrong in any sense of the word. we are 7-8 times more likely to be murdered than someone who isn't trans and as such it can be a matter of life and death to make sure our status as a trans person is not widely known to others. these stats are based on only reported murders so who knows what the real risk factors are. saying it is her (Angie Zapata's) fault for being murdered is like blaming a rape victim for being raped. society needs to stop blaming woman for a mans actions it is never a victims fault and that is what she is a victim of hate and bias.
