Bent British producer Russell T. Davies talks to the Los Angeles Times about his uber-hit remake of Doctor Who, as well as its two spin-offs, Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures. Davies also discusses his seemingly shocking sexually exploratory story lines, “What was conceived as a very radical and brave bit of political storytelling became, to my surprise, the lightest comedy on Earth… You don’t get on a soapbox.
