Happily Ever After: The Meredith Baxter Story.
Meredith Baxter, known to many as Elyse Keaton and known to gays as a fixture in Lifetime made-for-TV movies, has married her longtime partner, contractor Nancy Locke.
Baxter, 66, came out in 2009, though she and Locke have been dating for seven years. The two wed in an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles Sunday afternoon, attended by close friends and family, including Baxter’s five children.
“Now I understand why marriage caught on!” Baxter told People magazine.
How about we take this to the next level?

And of course Queerty don’t forget her role as the Mom in “The Mostly Unfabulous Social life of Ethan Green” where she was a gay wedding planner. 🙂

Is it wrong that the first thing I think of is FAMILY ?
And speaking of gay, Anyone else have a certain interest in Willie from Family?
GlitterKidder
@E Markus: No you’re not wrong & you’re not alone. Everytime I hear her name it’s the first thing I think of. That was my favorite program when I was in high school, and one of the first shows I remember having a gay storyline. It also has produced two lesbians, so I too question, whatever happened to “Willie”?
Spike
Lesbian couples start looking like each other over time just like the Gays. Who knew?!!?

It seems my comments are not being posted… someone have a problem with freedom of speech?
Not at this bastion of free speech, Queerty… right?
