Mary Cheney + Heather Poe Welcomed 1st Daughter Yesterday. Today, They’ll Have to Defend Her

mary_cheney

Congratulations to Mary Cheney and Heather Poe, who welcomed their second child, Sarah Lynne Cheney, into the world yesterday at 6 pounds and 14 ounces. (The duo had Samuel David Cheney in 2007.) Let’s see how fast we can turn this into a debate about gay parenting, shall we Wolf Blitzer?

Headline:

“Mary Cheney + Heather Poe Welcomed 1st Daughter Yesterday. Today, They’ll Have to Defend Her”

First line:
“Congratulations to Mary Cheney and Heather Poe, who welcomed their second child,…”

Is it first or second? It’s second for this worthless cunt.

Read closer, Mike, before you go all red-pen on Queerty. First daughter, second child. Different nouns.

They live in VA. So legally one of them has no rights to it. But of course the rules are different because of daddy right?

rick, the headline claims it’s their 1st. The first line in the article correctly states it’s their second.

It’s sloppy.

@ Mike.

It clearly states FIRST DAUGHTER, not FIRST CHILD, but their 2nd. It even clarifies later on that they had their first child (Samuel David Cheney, obviously a BOY) in 2007.

Is someone having a hard time understanding the workings of the english language?

It is possible to have 15 children who are all girls, then having a 16th child who happens to be a boy, which would be having your 1st son, or vice versa. Make sense for you Mike?
