Last month, Canadian photographer Kristy Boyce traveled to Russia during the Sochi Olympics to photograph members of Russia’s gay community. She also conducted video interviews asking models what they would say to Putin if given the opportunity.
More than 30 men and women participated in the project. Boyce worked with everyone from transgender men to Russian “bears” to femmes, butches, twinks and even the captain of Russia’s first roller derby team.
