Well, isn’t that where hands belong? What I am struck by is the thought that both ways of communal dressing have their plusses. That is, “anything goes” creativity can be zany, hot, idiosyncratic and fun –like a dress up party from a mother’s or a wardrobe closet, but there is also something seething, powerfully teasing and even more suggestively sexy when a whole male crowd is in suit and ties or military uniforms or tuxedos or, in days gone by, in cutaways or tails. In the latter circumstances, it is the real tiniest differences in bodies and the smallest points of individual creativity like fine and revealing tailoring, ties, pocket squares, cuff links, ring or such that proclaim and distinguish an individual’s particular attractiveness and one must have a much more subtle eye to see the stand-above-the-crowd sexiness. Rather than anything goes or creative costumes, I think I would just prefer pure nakedness to touch and admire the main assets.
