Kirsten Gillibrand, the New York lawmaker and the closest thing you’ll find to a gay senator, parties it up at Saks Fifth Avenue after dropping in on Nanette Lepore at New York Fashion Week. Fashion is “an important industry for our city and our state,” she tells New York. “We want to enhance this industry. It generates ten billion dollars in salaries.
