The Best Dressed
Michelle Obama is one of People Magazine’s 10 Best Dressed of 2008. The magazine calls her “Classic and Confident.” Also on the list are Fergie, Anne Hathaway, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Heidi Klum, Rihanna, Eva Mendes, and Charlize Theron. To be nice to Sarah Palin, they recognized her for her changing fashions. “(She) is causing a run on rimless glasses, peep-toe pumps and sexy secretary-like updos across the country,” People says. On Michele Obama – I’m excited for her to be fully embraced by the gay community and agree that she’ll eventually be a gay icon. Being one of People’s Best Dressed won’t hurt that.
“Rimless glasses”? Don’t they mean Tina Fey glasses?
What they also fail to mention is that she’s also causing a run on her favorite brand of lipstick: Porky Pink.
I can’t believe she had the nerve to swagger jack Tina Fey.

Also for all the nay sayers out there Michelle was not at the 911 memorial because she was with her kids it was their first day of school. Hot , smart, and a good parent!
In my mind, Michelle Obama is already a gay icon. She’s danced with Ellen, spoken at gay political events and is effortlessly stylish. We gays already know that Barack will be an ally and a friend in White House, but I know Michelle will be fighting the good fight too!
Apart from being a Gay Icon, she is a Classy Icon. After Babs Bush looking like Cheney in Drag, Laura “crazy-eyes” Bush smelling like a tobacco factory with her chain-smoking on the White House porch while W flails around drunk, Michelle really is a class act with brains to match by the side of her Presidential husband, who she mentored in a Law Office. First Lady Obama will be someone America will be proud of. Can we say future (Madame) President?
Michelle has more class than all of them combined! She will be the best first lady since Betty Ford or Roslyn Carter.
Open-toed pumps on a politician! FINE. And probably before five o’clock, too.
I guess I’m old-fashioned, or maybe just sick of branding, but stateswomen don’t dress like secretaries. Sarah Palin is just WRONG. Wrong on every level.
