Naomi Watts and Robin Wright, two of the most highly-regarded actresses working in film today, take a dip in cougar town waters in the new forbidden romance drama Adore. The two gorgeous leading ladies star as life-long friends who, um, become romantically involved with each other’s equally stunning sons. It kinda adds new meaning to the term “family affair.”
Despite a posh pedigree (Dangerous Liaisons‘ Oscar-winning screenwriter Christopher Hampton adapted a novel by Nobel Prize winner Doris Lessing), early reviews are comparing the film to softcore porn and suggesting it’s a future camp classic. Adore opens in select theaters and is available on VOD today.

This movie is one long “I banged yer mom” joke.

Wait, hold up. For reals.
Someone made a feature length drama out of Mother Lover?

…are Samberg and Timberlake not get adaptation credits or what?

Soft core pron for ugly fraus who think every young stud wants to bang them. When “Blame it on Rio” came out it was decried for promoting old men screwing young women. I’m sure this will be celebrated by the same types of critics.

The title of the article made it seem like Naomi Watts and Robin Wright are guys indulging in same sex love or something.
DarthKitsune
the subject matter makes me very uncomfortable, so I will certainly never see this film.
