Naya Rivera, the actress who plays Santana on Glee, is tired of seeing her character go back and forth on her sexuality. “As far as [Santana’s] sexuality, that’s one of the great mysteries of the show, and I appreciate that. But I would like for them to maybe pick a side,” she tells E!. “Them,” of course, refers to Santittany — or her sometimes lesbian lover Brittany, played by Heather Morris. For now, Brittany has a boyfriend but that doesn’t mean writers aren’t planning “developments” for these two. Huh. I thought “bisexual love triangle” was a development.

I’m not bisexual, but I’ve got to feel for those who are. News flash Naya, not everyone “picks a side.”

I see what she’s saying, even if it’s not the most articulate comment. She wants a bit of stability. I imagine it’s difficult to play a “player” week in and week out and she would like to settle down with someone, and if that someone is Brittany, cool.
This is another quote taken out of context, something becoming far too common on this site…

kevin is right, not everyone “picks a side.” sexuality is fluid. and, it is also not always stable. so, i think santana’s character is very representative of what a lot of people experience with their sexuality–fluidity.

I think Mrs. Rivera ships Britana hardcore. When she says she wants Santana to pick a side, she means pick Britney.
