There’s no doubt that Adore Delano has grown to be one of the biggest stars to come from RuPaul’s Drag Race. After sales of her debut album broke Drag Race records, it was only a matter of time until she came out with another album to keep her hungry fans satisfied.
In a new interview with Album Confession, Adore opened up about her upcoming sophomore album. She revealed, “It’s going to be a little more serious. I’ve gone through a lot of shit this year – I fell in love, I got to travel the world, my dad passed away, I want to write about real shit. It’s darker I think, but it’s still me.”
She also admitted to Album Confessions that although she enjoys performing her own songs, since she’s only released one album it limits the number of songs she can perform.
Adore’s sophomore album is expected in 2015.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

Additionally, back in September Adore shared that she also wants to have her own record label in the next year or two, so we’ll see if she launches her second album under this new label. Either way, we’re pumped to hear her new tracks and see the sickening new music videos that accompany them!
