“I didn’t have sex with him but to be honest with you, to get a girl riled up to the point where you want to have sex, he doesn’t even know how to do that,” former Jersey Shore cast member Angelina Pivarnick says during a radio interview of Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino. “And you know what, I honestly feel like he’s in the closet right now, he doesn’t want to come out.” Does that make him gay? “Who knows? You never know these days. More power to him if he’s gay.” Part of is all: Angelina, you’re right, he does come off as overcompensating for something! The other part of me is all: That’s what all straight girls say about guys who won’t screw them.

Well the trouble is, other girls have come forward and said he slept with them and then kicked them out and THEY attacked him saying he was selfish in bed. Sounds like this girl is just bitter because he wouldn’t touch her.
Francis
No, honey. The reason he didn’t hook up with you is because you have absolutely nothing going for you. It means he has standards.
Harbo
Is anybody surprise at this? Next stop gay porn.
EdWoody
Yeah, this is a whiny bitch because he wouldn’t fuck her.
Meowzer
Sounds like a really sour bitch. I think he’s hot until he opens his mouth. But listening to her, I wouldn’t have sex with her either.

All Italian men are bisexuals. In Italy, there is no such thing as a gay rights concept because it is assumed that all men integrate their same-sex side into their overall sexuality and sensuality. It’s not necessarily glamorized but it’s there.

@Jason
Not true. Cosa Nostra eliminates homosexuals.

Big surprise all ex girlfriends say this..so classy…stop the bullying…
McMike
Yes, he’s not straight. So?

@jason: Are you talking about Italian-Americans or Italians in Italy?
Did you know that all people named Jason are Jewish? That all male gynecologists are homosexuals? That all red-headed people are witches? That all Brazilian women can perform oral on 6 men at a time? I can substantiate these beliefs as well as you can about the Italians.
jason
In Italy, there is no social stigma on male-male contact in the way there is in America. In Italy, ordinary men often kiss each other in various forms, hug each other etc etc. Of course, this isn’t necessarily sexual but it IS indicative of a more relaxed attitude than in America.
Soupy
Are you insane? Have you been there? Every man that hit on me in Italy was married or had a girlfriend for the benefit of his mother. So what if men can kiss and hug. I see that all the time here in Toronto.
Francis
Italy is not much different than an Orange County in their views of us. San Fran or Miami etc., is basically paradise compared to much of Italy for gay folk, especially men. Italy is also incredibly sexist, and pretty racist too, so I wouldn’t consider it a progressive place whatsoever. And from what my New York Italian (live part time both in the US and Italy) friend has told me, he says there is an EXTREMELY (emphasis on extremely) huge down low culture with Italians in general but I assume the macho heterocentric culture makes the men play straight publicly for appearances.
Oprah
Maybe he has a small penis and he didnt want u to see it. Maybe he is not attracted to you. Maybe he wasnt feeling it? Maybe snooky is his secret galfriend. You cant just jump to GAY. Thats a bit narcissistic, dont ya think so? lol

@jason: Male-male non-sexual contact is not the same as bisexuality. So your prior comment about all Italian has been shown to be delusional and wrong.
You need to realize that Italian-Americans do not necessarilly follow the same cultural patterns as their great-grandparents did — or whichever generation left.
You need to do some “reality checking” before you make such generalizations. Get some help.

@jason: Don’t you ever get tired of talking crap? Have you ever been to Italy? The “affection” Italian men show towards each other has nothing to do with bisexuality or any kind of sexuality, it’s a cultural way of greeting each other as a handshake is in America.
There is a lot of homophobia, sexism and racism in Italian society btw, just look at Berlusconi!
Zeus
I watched a few of those Jersey Shore dailies online a while back, things that don’t make it onto the show, and in one of them Jwoww insists (to the camera) that she thinks Mike is gay, so more people than just Angelina think he’s a ‘mo!
Soupy
I don’t know what it is with Jason. Maybe he has just chosen a really, really strange persona for this site.
jason
I never said that being comfortable with non-sexual contact means that you are comfortable with sexual contact.
However, it’s instructive that, in the USA, men often equate non-sexual contact with sexual contact. Witness how ordinary men in the USA are often afraid to hug each other or even kiss each other on the cheek in case it is perceived as sexual.
Soupy
People who are uncomfortable with public displays of affection come in both genders. It has to do with the way you are raised.
Aaron
@jason: WTF? Jesus. I’ve had enough of you’re shit. You’re making bi men like me look horrible. You’re sexist, female bi-phobic, and now this! Italy is no safe haven. While yes, male male contact is acceptable there, that is simply a non sexual cultural thing (which you did point out). But in no way is bisexuality accepted. All italian men bisexual? I mean, what the hell? It’s no doubt the same fraction there as it is here, and many of the down low men are most likely Bi (if they’ve had sex with their wives) Italy is a horribly racist, homophobic, and hypocritical place. Have you ever read about how they (and really most of Europe) treat the Roma people? It’s comparable to how the U.S. treated Blacks in the first half of the 20th Century.
On a related note, I wouldn’t be surprised if Mike was Bi. Though that’s probably wishful thinking; I’ve got a thing for Italian-American guys.

All the out gay men don’t want him to be gay, because then, they won’t want to sleep with him. An out gay man having sex with another out gay men is soooo…last decade (sarcasim)

@Cam:
I came looking for information on whether mike was gay and found this forum (and many others).
He carries himself not like an Italian man but more like a gay guy (I love the gays, btw). It’s not even because he’s a misogynist and definitely has nothing to do with ang saying something. He’s hiding something and won’t feel comfortable revealing it for a while I think.
Just watch the way he interacts with the guys when he’s drunk & how he’s desperately trying to prove that he’s
attracted to females constantly.
Bet you a few years from now he gets caught in action
