Thus barked real person Judge Jeanine Pirro this past weekend during her Fox News program Justice, ranting at actor Brandon Victor Dixon for a speech he presented to Vice-President Elect Mike Pence after Friday’s performance.

During his speech, Dixon voiced concern that the “new administration will not protect us, our planet, our children, our parents, or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights.”

We’re not quite sure who wrote Pirro, or from under which Spitting Image skit she crawled, but we do know she thinks this is “inappropriate and disgusting behavior.”
Later, Pirro, who is in no way being portrayed by Faye Dunaway, says, “The treatment of Vice President-elect Mike Pence last night in New York City where he was booed on the way into the play Hamilton and lectured from the stage on his way out, was both outrageous and embarrassing.”
Later, in what we’ve been assured is not a second-tier SNL sketch, Pirro accuses the cast and audience of “reverse racism.”

What happened in that theater — one block from here — was out-and-out reverse racism, and tee’d up hate for a man who has done nothing to deserve this inappropriate and disgusting behavior.”
Pirro, who is not a send-up of a talking head, ends the rant by claiming that “last night violates everything you say you stand for…”
That big-tent, inclusive, broad-minded acceptance of everyone, even people who don’t look or act like you. What happened to your old ‘love trumps hate’ line? You’re all damn hypocrites!”

They went extremely low when the cast had their public temper tantrum, but not as low as the Hillary supporters that fake hate crimes which are 99% of the ones that claim that they’ve now been the victim of hate speech or a hate crime since Donald Trump won the election in a landslide. Didn’t they think before they threw a public temper tantrum at the Vice President? I hope other people in the audience told the performers to STFU and get on with the musical that they had paid to watch.

And also perhaps look at the videos of the cast’s statement on-line. No tantrum there at all, but a well written statement given its spur of the moment nature.
I never understand why the right is so thin skinned, prone to outbursts, prone to misunderstanding of their own language, votes against their own self interest all the time, cannot discern between fact and fiction…. (the list goes on).
But what the hell, we will live through the next 4 years despite the inevitable setbacks to social progress, economic recovery and world standing. And we will get to see all you regressives eat crow. Many times.
