Ewan McGregor appeared on The Late Show on Monday night to promote his appearances on Trainspotting 2 and the live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast, in which he plays Lumiere, everyoneâs favorite sentient candelabra.

It wasnât long before the conversation turned to LeFouâs so-called âgay momentâ in the film, which led McGregor to quip:
âThereâs lots of gay sex in it. Thereâs a lot of gay sex in this cartoon. And I think if you live anywhere near Alabama, you should not go and see this film. What would Jesus think?â
âThere were rumors that LeFou had gay yearnings for Gaston,â Colbert says. âIt turns out he dances with a guy in a dress in one of the scenes, right? Thatâs the whole thing.â

I’ve never really been fussed about Ewan McGregor one way or the other but watching this makes me like him that little bit more. Love his natural Scottish accent too, I have never heard him speak in his own accent before he usually sounds either British or American in his movies.
