The Family Research Council is still horrified it was labeled a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. Because, as the group’s lead fiction writer Peter Sprigg notes during a History Channel program, it’s not like FRC is out there claiming “falsehoods” and “fabrications” about gay people in an attempt to demonize them! What, you didn’t know that adult men who molest children are marching in gay pride parades? And that letting gay soldiers serve will lead to more rapes of straight soldiers? If it weren’t for FRC’s new “Start Debating, Stop Hating” campaign, Americans would be wrongly convinced that “natural marriage” is not under attack. These are simply truths that need to be told!

What makes FRC a hate group is they distort any piece of research they’re able to, to the point of lies, to justify their bullshite. It has been proven over and over again most men who molest boys identify as heterosexual and I have seen too many instances of the authors of the studies cited by FRC and others coming out and saying what the FRC is stating is NOT what their research is showing.
