On the first night back from a holiday break, James Corden takes a minute on the Late Late Show to remember music icon George Michael and the impact he had on his life, including the Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day charity sketch the two shot in 2011 that ultimately inspired Carpool Karaoke. London won’t be the same without George Michael. Amazing bloke. He’s the only one who died last year who really upset me.

Did I mention how much I hate James Corden?

I saw the show but didn’t pick up on the Mariah Carey quote. I’ve always thought she was much to full of herself to say something like that; it changes my whole opinion of her. No reflection on her talent, just thought she was too much of a diva.
