This just in: Marlon Brando and comedian Richard Pryor used to be gay lovers, according to Pryor’s widow, Jennifer Lee.
It all started when Quincy Jones spilled all sorts of piping hot tea to Vulture this week.
“[Marlon] Brando used to go cha-cha dancing with us,” Jones said. “He could dance his ass off. He was the most charming motherf*cker you ever met.”
Jones continues, “He’d f*ck anything. Anything! He’d f*ck a mailbox. James Baldwin. Richard Pryor. Marvin Gaye.”

TMZ reached out to Pryor’s widow about the claims, who said her late husband would have “no shame” over what Quincy said.
She says the comedic legend was always very open about his bisexuality with friends, and documented it extensively in diaries. Jennifer says she’ll publish them later this year…As for Richard hooking up with Brando — she says, “It was the ’70s! Drugs were still good, especially quaaludes. If you did enough cocaine, you’d f*ck a radiator and send it flowers in the morning.”
Pryor and Lee were married briefly from 1981 to 1982. They remarried in 2001 and stayed together until his death in 2005.
In his autobiography, Pryor talked open about having a two week sexual relationship with a transvestite, which he called “two weeks of being gay.”

Sorry honey but I would need more proof to believe the part about Brando and Pryor. I won’t rule out the possibility of a book in the works because the money Pryor left her is now almost gone. And by the way, Pryor had two gay kids. Rain Pryor was on Head of the Class and he also had a son who had a drag act. Where have they gone and what are they up to these days? Pryor said more than once, including in some of his stage shows, that he had sex with men, so this isn’t surprising.
Also, Pryor’s wife confirmed the Pryor-Brando hookups. I’m far more intrigued by the story that Brando and Marvin Gaye had sex. James Baldwin, James Dean, Cary Grant, etc., I can see. But Marvin Gaye? Hmm. I guess Brando was getting it in as much as he could back in the day.

@Kangol…………………When Marvin Gaye was killed by his father a LOT about their relationship came out that not only revealed that he was gay but also he was so embarrassed by his father’s effeminate manners and dress that he added the E to his last name to help dispel the rumors of his being gay himself. This wife of Richard Pryor doesn’t realize that she herself hasn’t much credibility (at least in my opinion) because she left and came back after Pryor got sick and was unable to care for himself. Her word isn’t worth the breath she used to say whatever she said.

I can also see Baldwin and Brando; in the case of Baldwin, many people who came into contact with him attested he was extremely magnetic. (And have you seen pictures of the beautiful men, of all races, who were his boyfriends. He could pull some men!) I wonder about that Gaye hookup; too bad no one filmed it. A little over the top on the headline boys. James Baldwin was sort of a geeky looking guy in his later years but he was an awesome talent as a writer and he was never ashamed of his sexuality during decades when it was dangerous to be out. I would have nailed a young Brando myself given half a chance.
