Picture this: Marlon Brando. And James Dean. Naked. Together. In bed. Engaging in wild and kinky sado-masochistic horseplay. For hours on end.

According to the salacious new book James Dean: Tomorrow Never Comes, that’s exactly what happened. The two Hollywood legends purportedly had a complex sexual relationship and would regularly meet for master-and-servant style sex sessions, with Brando as the dominant slave master and Dean as his submissive.

But it gets juicier.

The authors of the book interviewed Stanley Haggart, a one-time “friend” of Dean, who claims that Brando would play twisted mind games with the young star, including making him watch as he had sex with strangers and force him to loiter outside his apartment in the cold in desperate hope of being invited in for sexual domination.

“I got the impression that Jimmy was engaged in a cat-and-mouse affair with Brando, with Brando being the cat, of course,” Haggarr says. “Brando seemed to be toying with Jimmy for his own amusement. I think Brando was sadistically using Jimmy, who followed him around like a lovesick puppy with his tongue wagging.”

Wow. That’s intense.

But before you get too excited, we should probably mention that the co-authors of this latest Brando/Dean exposé are Danforth Prince and Darwin Porter, who are notorious for having created a cottage industry of completely fabricated sex stories about dead actors.

Some of their past titles include Steve McQueen, King of Cool: Tales of a Lurid Life, Peter O’Toole: Hellraiser, Sexual Outlaw, Irish Rebel, Damn You Scarlett O’Hara: The Private Lives of Vivien Leigh and Laurence Olivier and J. Edgar Hoover and Clyde Tolson: Investigating the Sexual Secrets of America’s Most Famous Men and Women. Oh, and a bunch of Frommer’s travel guides.

A source familiar with the authors tells Queerty, “They’re unburdened by facts. They just make up stuff and there are idiots who fall for it.”

Hey, it was fun while it lasted.
