Picture this: Marlon Brando. And James Dean. Naked. Together. In bed. Engaging in wild and kinky sado-masochistic horseplay. For hours on end.
According to the salacious new book James Dean: Tomorrow Never Comes, that’s exactly what happened. The two Hollywood legends purportedly had a complex sexual relationship and would regularly meet for master-and-servant style sex sessions, with Brando as the dominant slave master and Dean as his submissive.
But it gets juicier.

The authors of the book interviewed Stanley Haggart, a one-time “friend” of Dean, who claims that Brando would play twisted mind games with the young star, including making him watch as he had sex with strangers and force him to loiter outside his apartment in the cold in desperate hope of being invited in for sexual domination.
“I got the impression that Jimmy was engaged in a cat-and-mouse affair with Brando, with Brando being the cat, of course,” Haggarr says. “Brando seemed to be toying with Jimmy for his own amusement. I think Brando was sadistically using Jimmy, who followed him around like a lovesick puppy with his tongue wagging.”
Wow. That’s intense.

But before you get too excited, we should probably mention that the co-authors of this latest Brando/Dean exposé are Danforth Prince and Darwin Porter, who are notorious for having created a cottage industry of completely fabricated sex stories about dead actors.
Some of their past titles include Steve McQueen, King of Cool: Tales of a Lurid Life, Peter O’Toole: Hellraiser, Sexual Outlaw, Irish Rebel, Damn You Scarlett O’Hara: The Private Lives of Vivien Leigh and Laurence Olivier and J. Edgar Hoover and Clyde Tolson: Investigating the Sexual Secrets of America’s Most Famous Men and Women. Oh, and a bunch of Frommer’s travel guides.
A source familiar with the authors tells Queerty, “They’re unburdened by facts. They just make up stuff and there are idiots who fall for it.”
Hey, it was fun while it lasted.

Who cares. Whatever. But that photo of them kissing….very sexy.
It would be so awesome if it were true. Both were raging bisexuals, in case you don’t know it.

I believe it. Old Hollywood Sexy. I love it.
Omg, how hot would that have been
Oh, and “Hollywood Babylon: It’s Back!” which is a riot.

Bull, and that photo is not real
A source familiar with the authors tells Queerty, â??Theyâ??re unburdened by facts. They just make up stuff and there are idiots who fall for it.â? Sounds like the crop of idiots goose-stepping to Trump.
Between Brando and Dean, I choose Dean, by a small margin. I have his photo above my bed’s headboard.
It’s on the Internet, so it certainly has to be true. Tee hee
We can’t ask them can we?
The position of Deans head and the light on Brando’s forehead was enough to make me say…meh. With todays technology a 3D movie of them having sex could be produced within hours.
This was old news when I first heard it 30 years ago.
There are many straight-identifying guys who enjoy power relationships with men. Sometimes there is a sexual element, not necessarily involving sexual intercourse but other things.
I think it was well known that Dean liked people to put their cigarettes out on him like a human ashtray so not too surprised here.
@Brian: I’m sure there’s plenty of straight guys interested in gay sex, Brian- you should find a message board where you can hang out with them and message them your brilliant social theories.
@Invert: They were not straight identifying. They were raging, active and wild bisexuals, and Brando candidly admitted it in an interview.
lie, the photo is fake…

When items in a list have commas, the items in the list are separated by semi-colons. Also, Serial Comma, for clarity’s sake.
@Billy Budd: I know, dude- I was responding to Brian’s tired insane ramblings.
@Invert: Sorry man, I was responding to him too. I clicked on the wrong post.
@Billy Budd: Exactly, they’re not hetero/straight and they were both basically out as bisexual for the times as was Cary Grant.
@Lycan la Fontaine: @machosquentes:
Ummm…I think its rather obvious that the photo is photoshopped. Was that ever really in dispute?
