The phrase “golden age of television” has been thrown around a great deal over the last decade, but it’s always rung hollow… until now.
Netflix has announced a new docuseries starring none other than Alyssa Edwards.
How about we take this to the next level?

Dancing Queen will play out over eight episodes, and judging by the preview, the tongue pops will flow like milk and honey, hunty.
The World of Wonder-produced series will follow Alyssa, aka Justin Johnson, as she wears her many wigs — business owner, mentor, dancer, drag superstar, etc.
It’s filmed in Justin’s hometown of Mesquite, Texas, where he owns and operates the Beyond Belief Dance Company.

Dancing Queen is available to stream on Netflix starting October 5.

There is an actual gay person in this show which probably terrified Bravo so they let Netflix scoop them.
It looks like a better version of Dance Moms. And of course Alyssa Edwards is appointment TV. lol
