Any gay men that Nick Jonas failed to swoon in his recent ab-fueled campaign to build a giant and unwavering gay fan base will surely be hooked after seeing him drop his pants and grab his crotch for Flaunt magazine.
The 22-year-old singer properly acquainted us with his abs by flashing them at gay clubs around New York last month, and before that, knocked us out with his enormous biceps in Out.
To kick off his debut solo album’s press tour, he spoke with handfuls of different media outlets about how much he loves and wants to satisfy gay men.
Today, he’s taunting the gays to come deeper into the Nick Jonas pool by posing with his pants around his ankles, bulge in hand, and revealing his ass crack for the first time ever.
On behalf of all gays everywhere, we accept your invitation, Nick.
Check out some photos from Nick’s latest shoot for Flaunt below (see a few more at Just Jared), and hang tight on the Nick Jonas bandwagon because this ride is clearly just beginning.
QJ201
Remove the name and he looks like every other idiot in “gay for pay” amateur porn.

I know that we are supposed to embrace with open arms any supposedly hot, young, straight male celebrity who calls himself and ally and is always in some state of undress, but this reeks of desperation to stay relevant. To me this type of display is off-putting in the way it that panders.
thebobr78
Now that’s what I have always wanted to see! now if he will just do a hot strip tease and naked video I’ll be in heaven!
Pistolo
Is he in heat or something?
I’m kind of sick of straight guys treating us like we’re dogs frothing at the mouth for their ass cheeks. I swear, men who are sluttish “allies” to gays get more press than actual gays. Are Chris Colfer or Zachary Quinto doing anything interesting today?
Desert Boy
Nick Jonas is the new Marky Mark. So hot.
Milk
@Pistolo: Sex will always sells. Now most can openly sell to the gay market.
DesperateRachel
I have to say Nick Jonas looks good for once. I wish he would keep lifting and get bigger. That torso is a bit skinny. And those arms too.
vive
Guy has a bit of gyno, but it’s actually refreshing to see some imperfections along with the cuteness.
JaredNorthcutt30
It’d be nice if the the cis white gay men could pay attention to someone who’s actually talented. Guess it’s too much to ask.
DesperateRachel
@JaredNorthcutt30: I am a trans black hetero woman. So I know you are not talking about me.
heiscrafty
Classless and tacky. These straight “celebs” know all they need to do is take their clothes off and grab their junk and the shallow gay community will follow. Sad sad…..
Sweet Boy
He´ll have to take a pic sucking a d*ck if he wants me to buy his stuff
crowebobby
I like the nipples; just wish he had done all this 4 years ago. Meanwhile I’ll just enjoy the eye candy without letting my panties get in a twist over what it all may mean on the subliminal level.
Paco
He’s perfect. Except for that straight part.
We all have our easily overlooked flaws, so keep pandering Nick. Keep pandering.
Tackle
That ass crack pic is hott. And at this stage his gyno looks kinda sexy. And since he’s one of those men who are prone to get gyno, he should lay off the roids…
nf0603
I’m sorry, I still can’t forget that The Jonas Brothers were marketed as fundamentalist Christians who hung out with people like Rick Warren and Joel Osteen and said sex outside of marriage (and according to that religion, gays will never count as married) is a sin. Screw him. He only resorted to the gays when the little girls moved on to the next heartthrob…. where was this gay-friendly attitude back when The Jonas Brothers were actually relevant?
topshelf
Every week it’s something more desperate. He’s not really all that hot, but good photography does wonders, and gay men just eat this shit up.
money718
Hair on his lower back? Yuk. Sit down dude.
Silas Wegg
@Desert Boy: The new Britney Spears circa Baby One More Time, more like. Fifteen years later the sex is sold to gay men (and girls?) rather than straight pervs. He’s become a hooker by now, and it’s off-putting. Now I can see why so many women have, over the years, pushed the “show your talent but keep your clothes on” mantra. Today marks the day I’ve become a prude.
kevininbuffalo
He’s nothing special. I work in a large plant, yeh there are blue collar gay men and I can think of at least a dozen young men who I work with who are 50x’s hotter than this guy. And they don’t need to drop their pants or fondle their junk to be hot, they just are naturally!
SportGuy
This is really sad and pathetic. Nonetheless, some will fall for this.
crowebobby
@kevininbuffalo: Have you told these guys they could be earning $10,000,000 a year if they were willing to play the hypocrite and sell their hotness like no-talent, no-where-near-as-hot-as-they-are Nicky Jonas?
JaredNorthcutt30
@DesperateRachel And as a trans woman, you are quick to body shame despite your first hand experience with cultural body fascism. Messed up, much?
Blackceo
Yessssssss!!!!! I’m glad Queerty has been giving me more Nick Jonas and less Tom Daley lately. Nick is sexy. Love that shot where he is teasing with that juicy booty.
Paco
Wow. Cries of hypocrisy from members of a community thats very culture is defined and driven by the never ending in-your-face selling of sex. Both funny and amazing. So it’s ok for us to drool over articles here dripping with sexual innuendo that the hot straight flavor of the month is secretly gay and wants us, but how dare a straight guy be comfortable enough to do it himself. If I could roll my eyes any harder, I would probably get an aneurysm.
JaredNorthcutt30
@Paco Oh that’s right. Everything is always about our sex. Time to turn in the GLBT card. Trade you an eye roll for an eye roll, honey.
DarkZephyr
Well, I for one think he is scrumptious and I am not going to sit on my high horse and judge him or bitch that he is “pandering” or “baiting” or “desperate”. He can pander to me and bait me all he wants. I hope he keeps doing it. This is not about “straight worship” either. This is about the fact that I am a man with a male libido (that I am NOT ashamed of) and I am gay so I like guys. Nick Jonas is a hot guy in my opinion, his sexual orientation has nothing to do with it. He would be just as hot if he were gay. He is gorgeous and his face and body push the right buttons for me. That isn’t going to magically stop just because he is straight. I enjoy the show he is putting on and the fact that he IS doing it for me, a member of the gay male audience, makes it all the more enjoyable to me. He isn’t pretending that he wants to actually f*ck us.
There was a time not that long ago when EVERYWHERE you looked it was female T and A, female T and A in every movie, every commercial, on every magazine in every TV show, on every billboard, pandering to straight male sexuality. Straight women and gay men usually had to buy special f*cking magazines in privacy packaging if we wanted to see this sort of thing (Or hope for a quick glimpse of man butt in a late night Showtime special that was dripping with more female T and A) because it was not OK for men to be sexual and provocative this way and you CERTAINLY wouldn’t find them being sexual and provocative for *other men*. What Nick Jonas is doing is part of the reality that this is no longer taboo. This is the kind of entertainment that I was desperate for when I was a teenaged gay boy and sex was always on my mind. Now that I am a 30 something adult gay man I am certainly not going to add my voice to the snarky, snippy complaints. Jesus Christ, do we really f*cking want men to go back to being afraid to be provocative for us in this manner? I sure as hell don’t.
I like what he is doing and if this is some ploy to get me to pay attention to him and buy his music, good for him. Its working and I am enjoying myself. He is an entertainer and he is successfully entertaining me, so he is actually doing his job.
Paco
@DarkZephyr: You say things so much better than I ever could. I also remember when everything was catered to the desires of straight men with displays of female T&A, and am very happy things are finally changing to include gay men. I agree with your comment 100%.
@JaredNorthcutt30 – It’s a good bet I was speaking about the “G” and not the LBT. All one has to do is look at most of the media and advertising targeted at gay men and it becomes clear that sex is most definitely the top thing for sale. And I am ok with that and applaud it the same as I applaud Nick Jonas learning how to take advantage of our desires as sexual beings to promote himself. It is no different when gay men do it to sell porn, underwear, timeshares, gym memberships, magazines, acting and music careers, page clicks on websites, etc…
Here, take my “card”. You need it more than I do.
Nomorjeans
Nick is just making a go of it. What’s the big deal.
He’s hot, good looking and as far as I know an overall good guy.
Let him enjoy his moment.
Besides,
Mark Wahlberg did it first.
adventuretime
yeah, there seems to be a weird sort of assumption going on in this comment section that promoting one’s body is a bad thing, or that sex sells = a bad thing. Sex, sexual attraction and desire, is the thing that unites, like–99% of the world’s population. Even if we do experience it differently. So sex will always sell, and I definitely don’t think that’s a bad thing. Nick–and anyone else for that matter–should be free to take his clothes off however often he wants.
btdubs, i kinda like his single “Jealous.” it’s definitely got some smooth R&B influences, and props to him (or his production team at least, haha) for giving him a bit more of an interesting sound than just some bubblegum pop, and certainly better than that silly noise that the Jonas Brothers were coming out with a few years back.
SteveInTheD
@nf0603:
Thank you, perfectly stated and can’t be stressed enough. I wonder if gwad himself told him to grab his crotch like that and pander to da gays so he can sell his horrible music. There are so many better looking gay men to drool over. Why does this idiot get so much attention? Please someone explain it to me because it’s lost on me.
tdh1980
There always seems to be a level of missing the forest for the trees in these comments that I can’t quite comprehend. I can’t speak for anyone else here, but I am neither a prude nor a slut shamer, so I fully endorse anyone’s right to undress and use whatever sex appeal he thinks he has to sell whatever he wants to sell. My (rhetorical) question is why this is the standard go-to tactic for every guy with a modicum of fame on a mission to court the gay male demographic. It’s reductive and cynical and at least a little bit insulting to us.
SportGuy
@SteveInTheD:
Trust me, your not the only one lost! I am saddened that their are gays falling for this kind of pandering. He always looks uncomfortable and like being forced to do it, because the higher ups know gays will fall for it. Really sad.
MrKev
@SportGuy: I am so glad that I’m not the only one who is disgusted by all these straight people who enjoy gay-baiting; pretending like they care about us when they really only care about our money to buy their crappy stuff (Kathy Griffin, Cher, Madonna, James Franco, and now this clown to name a few). It’s not the 70’s or 80’s anymore and I’m not going to worship “divas” or straight men just because they’re “hot” (which IMO this guy isn’t). If I like your work, I will purchase it, but just because you shout out “I love the gays!” or pose for some cheesy pictures doing Marky Mark poses is not going to make me pay attention to you.
Better yet, lets try supporting our own and giving our attention to openly gay male celebs.
DarkZephyr
@MrKev: Do you HONESTLY believe that we simply cannot be entertained by more than one person? I DO support openly gay male celebs. But I will support this hottie with a body too. Sorry.
DarkZephyr
@SportGuy: I think the discomfort you see is all in your head. He looks pretty happy to me.
DarkZephyr
@Paco: Thanks Paco! 🙂 I am not going to let the snark fest sway my viewpoint on this either. 🙂
DesperateRachel
@JaredNorthcutt30: You are pathetic. Everything is a cause for you, huh?
brianmovie
Isn’t he using the Marky Mark playbook, grab your junk, to get us into you become famous, and forget about us.
NoCagada
ASS?!? He doesn’t have one.
Gman23
He’s Hot!!!! Some can criticize him, but I think gay people are in need of any support that they can get. A lot of haters out there – take what you can get. And I say again, He’s hot!!!
Gman23
@NoCagad – He’s got a great ass!
Gman23
As a gay man, I like real men. If I was attracted to feminine guys, then I mine as well be with a female…now if you are the feminine type, then great, enjoy who you are and who you are with, but don’t criticize some gay people for wanting a more masculine, straight acting guy.
lykeitiz
If this is how cynical gay men are going to be going forward, then I’m glad I peaked in the ’90’s.
The point of how we should be celebrating “out” gay men is a point well taken, and justified.
The rest of you though, need to sit down & shut up.
Is this Queerty or the Focus on the Family site?
If he isn’t your type, then fine… move on.
But when a man (any man), wants to strip down to his skivvies and prance around, what kind of gay man gets upset by that? None that I want to know, that’s for sure!
cmk2877
ITT: lots of jealousy. But I’d expect no less from this place! ‘Queerty: making Youtube comments looks good since however long Queerty has been around.’
barkomatic
I guarantee you that all of the “above it all” and “I like real mean” guys on here would sleep with Nick Jonas in a hot second if he even looked in their direction.
cflekken
I’d do him
Stache99
@Gman23: Since you didn’t just stop at masculine and went with “straight acting” what exactly are you referring too since straight is such a wide field of personalities? You want to see him f*cking a chick and then talking all the time about how much he likes it? Please explain.
Gman23
@Stache99:
Not sure what you are exactly asking me. But It wouldn’t bother me if he screws woman and talks about how much he likes it. I still can appreciate the beauty of his body or himself as an individual. I myself have had sex with woman in my younger years. I don’t consider myself bisexual, I consider myself gay, but I was able to get hard enough to insert into a vagina. Maybe he is bisexual. And if he is straight and is evolving on gay people, what difference does it make. At least he isn’t Kurt Cameron. I agree with you, straight is a wide field of personalities, I guess some straight guys can be feminine, or nerdy, etc… But I like a guy that looks similar to Nick Jonas. One of my best friends is straight, so he says, and talks all the time about what he does with woman. He doesn’t mind me talking about my relationships with the same sex.
People need to get over sexual orientation and accept all forms of sexuality.
Paco
@Stache99: I despise the term “straight acting” and the idiots that use it. The very meaning of the term is derogatory towards gay men. It basically says that only heterosexual males are truly masculine and the most gay men can achieve is to mimic or act as if they are as masculine as straight guys, but can never truly be. It is a term I wish would be purged from gay vocabulary. I don’t know why they just can’t say they are masculine. Apparently masculine isn’t enough to set them apart from the rest of the queens on their knees or something.
vive
@Gman23, yeah, “straight-acting” is considered a very homophobic term at least in the U.S., because it is usually perceived to be derogatory toward gay men.
vive
@Paco: “I don’t know why they just can’t say they are masculine.”
Weeeeeell, using “masculine” as a stand-in for what “straight-acting” used to mean is also derogatory. It is as if you are saying macho/butch guys have a monopoly on masculinity, and a lot of fem guys would be insulted by that.
I think the old terms “butch” or maybe “macho” would at least be better than telling half of the gay male population that they cannot call themselves “masculine.”
Paco
@vive: True. However, masculine only personally bothers me when they have to constantly announce it, (because I guess it isn’t obvious enough for people to notice on their own), or using it as an opportunity to belittle someone they perceive to be less than them. But I get your point.
SteveDenver
@QJ201: You nailed it! There’s a coy quality that is becoming a bore.
jd2222248
So, is James Franco out? Is Jonas taking James Franco station in the gay community?
