The Senate just confirmed U.S. District Judge Alison Nathan making her the third openly gay attorney appointed as a life-tenured federal judge. She follows Obama-appointed U.S. District Court Judge Paul Oetken and Clinton-appointed U.S. District Court Judge Deborah Batts. Is it any wonder all three were appointed to districts in New York?
