As the press and public decried his plan to suspend this Friday’s debate, John McCain’s campaign said last night they simply want to move it to next Thursday. That, of course, is the date for the one and only vice-presidential debate, which the campaign also wants to reschedule. Said Barack Obama on this whole brouhaha: “It’s my belief that this is exactly the time when the American people need to hear from the person who, in approximately 40 days, will be responsible for dealing with this mess. It’s going to be part of the president’s job to deal with more than one thing at once.” [HuffPo and Houston Chronicle]

He does NOTHING for 10 DAYS but publicly flail blaming Obama, saying the economy is sound, wants to fire someone a president has no power to fire, against AIG bail out before he was against it, flanked by someone on Lehman’s payroll, with Mr. deregulator Phil Graham advising him on his entire economic positions, and Carly Fiorina’s golden parachute trailing behind McLIAR like a bridal trane….then he runs around for 24 hours shouting the sky is falling, and only he THE FIGHTER PILOT,(who never likes to say he was a POW),CAN SAVE AMERICA and ends with a White House photo op.

I’m concerned about McCain’s health. Not appearing on David Letterman last night because he’s “suspending” his campaign and trying to get out of the debate on Friday.
Did he have a minor stroke? He blinks a lot when he talks on TV and I thought he looked like he could really benefit from using a walker the few times I’ve seen him hobble on stage.
I think its possible that there may have been a change in his health, and I know its possible the Republicans would try to hide it.

The TOTAL FARCE of McCain’s rush to save the Economy should be trounced by every member of Congress who actually worked on the bipartisan bill. Nancy Pelosi and Reid should tell ranking Republicans they get ZERO votes on the deal, if ANY Republican goes and stands with Bush and McCain at the White House Photo Op. Leave McCain standing with Bush SEPERATE from the rest of Congress and Obama.
