New SNL cast member Bowen Yang is already proving his comedy chops two episodes into season 45 of the sketch show, providing one of the more memorable moments on “Weekend Update” as Chen Biao, a Chinese government tariff expert.
Yang, who is queer, gave a sassy interpretation of a trade official who’s living his best life — he’s basically the Lizzo of China.
