Elton John‘s annual AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party is the stuff of Hollywood lore, and this year’s bash gave the crowd — not to mention the YouTube viewing public — something to cheer for.
John welcomed to the stage Taron Egerton, the actor set to portray him in the huge biopic about the legendary songwriter coming out later this year, for a heartfelt rendition of “Tiny Dancer”.

While I don’t think young Taron has “that” voice, he does credit to Sir Elton’s story, and there was obvious joy and good chemistry between the two during the lovely duet. I look forward to the movie, the trailer is great!
