Regular Queerty readers may recall last month’s quirky preview of the new Matthew Camp/Tanner Cohen film, Getting Go: The Go Doc Project. This unusual queer feature incorporates the clever narrative pretext of cruising a guy by pretending to make a documentary about him (note to self). Made on a shoestring budget raised via Kickstarter by the team that created the 2008 hit Were The World Mine (also starring Tanner Cohen), this latest venture has been building a similar cult status for its sexy stars, graphic opening sex scene, innovative cinematic approach and poignant depiction of the deepening relationship between its two protagonists (whose names are Go and Doc, hence the title). The film is out on VOD today and on DVD August 5th.
Movie of the Week
Wow… that is not a preview that leaves you wanting more, unless you’re looking for gratuitous shots of half-naked guys. Not exactly Sundance Film Festival material lol… or maybe I’m expecting too much
Ijuela, I can`t stop say WOW to the hot sexy HOMOS, in the USA. I just love HOMOS men.
Matthew has to do gay porn!
@Opponent of Homosexual Lifestyles being promoted to kids: Bet you got a stiffy watching it.
What happened to the option of flagging an offensive post? We did it with the much hated JimBryant until he was kicked off the site. Now we need to do the same with the equally nasty “Opponent of Homosexual Lifestyles being promoted to kids.” C’mon Queerty editors, please get this troll off of this site.
Unfortunately I was all for this until silly final ten seconds of the preview.
@BBellairs: Jim Troll Bryant is not off the site, he had slunk back and assumed the new troll name Michael Mellor. He goes by Petey on a Towleroad, D!ckface on Chickswithdicks.com, IgnorantDouche on SeanHannity.com, and Ineed2haveThePissBeatOutOfMe everywhere else.
