A new clip from the film Getting Go, a docu-style drama about a boy who falls in love with the subject of his own documentary, has been released ahead of the film’s DVD debut on August 5.
This film has piqued our interest several times since its humble beginnings as a Kickstarter campaign. Inspired by and starring New York City go-go dancing legend Matthew Camp and Were The World Mine actor Tanner Cohen, Getting Go explores the lives of two gay men finding love despite living in completely different worlds.
Last month, Camp told Gay Times the film could be his pivot into a potential acting career.
“As they grow closer, flirtation blurs the line between subject and filmmaker,” the film’s description reads, “until a steamy night together solidifies deeper feelings.”
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Check out an exclusive clip from that steamy night below, wherein Camp and Cohen share some existential pillow talk before snuggling up for bed. Wouldn’t they make an adorable real-life couple?

Love the movie if the World were mine, hope Tanner has a good career ahead of himself.

Two guys in bed sharing some existential Pillow Talk?
Matthew, I’d respectfully suggest that perhaps the real inspiration was Together Alone by P.J. Castellaneta.

Lines get blured between subject and film maker? Sounds like some fantasy vanity project for whoever wrote it.
