Cat Cora on Being a Lady Iron Chef, Protesting Prop. 8

We're totally digging B&C Executive Editor Melissa Grego's quest to videotape all the power lunches she has with minor industry players. At least that's the conceit, usually. Here's the latest installment at what we can only guess is the heretofore unknown dining establishment "Camera Wall" with Iron Chef Cat Cora, who's a lesbian–which we didn't know until just now. Cora's been taking part in the Santa Barbara Prop. 8 protests and says, "We believe it should have never been a ballot issue. Hopefully, we can resolve that issue and everyone can have the same equal rights around the world.”

Oh wow, she's gorgeous. I may have to actually start taking an interest in cooking.

I purchased her cookbook – for a friend. Cat signed it and wrote a funny little blurb instructing my friend to prepare all the recipes to me. She's a tiny woman with a big smile and lotta sweetness.

glad she's speaking up a little more, can't blame her much for keeping mum on FoodNetwork…but, hey, the lady's got knife skills. Don't mess with the Iron Chef.

I had no idea! I've always enjoyed her on Iron Chef. The way she combines Southern and Greek cooking is just fantastic, and I love that her team always ends the battle by taking shots. Good for her…I'm glad I bought her book!

I heard that she appeared on a dating community ***INTERRACIALLOVING.COM*** with a personal account there. Maybe you have the chance to talk to her online or meet some singles there. It is amazing.

"…Iron Chef Cat Cora, who's a lesbian–which we didn't know until just now."

That's because you seriously need to get at least one go-to lesbian for issues like these. Sheesh.

I thought everyone knew Cat wasn't straight!
