BREAKING: Same Sex Marriage Heads to New Hampshire Gov

newhamp

The House approved the "two-tier" changes in a 178-167 vote. The bill now heads to the desk of Democratic Gov. John Lynch, who, we needn't remind you, acted just like Maine's Gov. John Baldacci and gave no indication of whether he would sign or veto the bill. (Baldacci, of course, ended up signing it today.) Lynch previously said he believed marriage was the territory of one man and one woman, but today hinted another option is possible … or not: "I have a responsibility as governor to do what I think is best for the people of New Hampshire. I will continue to talk with the Legislature and with the people of New Hampshire about that bill."

Yay.

But on another note… I mean, I'm very sorry Jossip is dead. I did enjoy that (along with Mollygood, but man is THAT a bygone.) But your posts have recently become more and more grammatically incorrect with obvious and glaring errors ("indicated"… really?) Do you guys even care anymore? A simple once-over proofreading would fix this. I'm scared the decline in the quality of the articles means we'll be losing Queerty soon. Please say it isn't so.

@burton21: why be so damn picky. they don't HAVE to run this site. if u don't like all the issues u find so easily, go to another site that does gay news in a not-so-blog concept.

@kademonster: Sorry, should have been more clear. The articles themselves are topical and relevant, but the quality of the writing has begun to noticeably decline.
