BREAKING: Train Attack Hero Spencer Stone Repeatedly Stabbed Outside Of Gay Bar

spencer-stone23-year-old Spencer Stone, one of three Americans who gained worldwide attention in August after dismantling a terrorist attack on a French train, was stabbed in a fight on Wednesday evening–outside a gay bar in Sacramento, CA, where he resides.

NBC News reports that Airman First Class Stone is currently in stable condition, although he was stabbed several times and suffered what police called “non life-threatening but very significant injuries.”

Stone had been carousing with four friends — three women and another man — when he got embroiled in an altercation with two or more men. He was stabbed repeatedly with a box-cutter last evening after leaving the popular gay nightclub Badlands in downtown Sacramento.

The fight began around 12:45am EST. According to Deputy Chief Ken Bernard of Sacramento Police, the incident was “an altercation between two groups of folks who were enjoying the nightlife. This was not related to terrorism in any way and we know it was not related to what happened in France.”

The two suspects bolted from the scene in a late-model Toyota Camry, and have been described as Asian males who were both wearing blue jeans and white T-shirts.

Stone, who received France’s Legion d’Honneur for restraining the two suspected terrorists in August, needed surgery to reattach part of his hand.
