The sexual assault case brought against X-Men director Bryan Singer in a Hawaii federal court this week is bound to get even messier in the coming weeks, now that the Internet has dug up some pretty damning evidence of his alleged involvement in what has been described by an attorney as a “pedophile ring.”

The plaintiff in the case, Michael Egan, has left no detail to the imagination in his formal accusation. The 31-year-old claims he was one of many underage boys who were forced to engage in sexual acts with Singer and former chairman of Digital Entertainment Network Marc Collins-Rector during drug-fueled parties at a property in Encino, CA in 1999.

Egan, 17 at the time, claims he was lured into the alleged sex ring with the promise of landing a role in a Singer-directed film. His suit, the second sexual assault complaint brought against Singer, describes an incident during which his head was held underwater to perform fellatio on Singer, after which he was forcibly sodomized.

In the first sexual assault complaint brought against Singer, an extra from the film Apt Pupil accused the director in 1997 of forcing him to get naked and filming him in the shower. Singer denied the accusations and the case was later thrown out due to insufficient evidence.

At a press conference with his attorney Jeff Herman at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon, Egan further claimed he was flown to Hawaii on multiple occasions to be “anally raped” by Singer, along with a handful of other underage boys. Of the notorious parties held at the Encino estate, Egan said “I had drugs put in drinks, liquor poured down my throat. I was raped numerous times in that house by numerous individuals.”

“You were like a piece of meat to these people,” he continued. “They passed you around to each other. If I had to define that house, I’d call it evil.”

Egan claims he waited 15 years to file suit against Singer because the events caused him to spiral into alcoholism — he only recently became sober and sought therapy, during which he claims he remembered times he was allegedly raped by Singer.

Singer’s attorney, Marty Singer, claims the allegations are “completely without merit,” and that “Bryan will be vindicated in this absurd and defamatory lawsuit.” He told The Wrap, “It is obvious that this case was filed in an attempt to get publicity at the time when Bryan’s new movie is about to open in a few weeks.”

But Singer may have a tough time making the allegations go away, so to speak, after photos published back in 2009 were widely reported to have been taken at one of Singer’s alleged sex parties. As originally reported by a former Queerty Editor, there was an “after-after party which generally has a clothing-optional policy,” during which “Roland Emmerich and Bryan took a few select young men into the house for private casting sessions.”

Jordan Sargent of Defamer has dug up additional accounts of similar events, suggesting Singer’s appetite for twinks was pretty much an “open secret.”

The first from Michael K. of Dlisted:

I first heard about Bryan Singer’s “infamous” coke and twink pool parties when I was 18 and was at some party in Orange County that a bunch of dancers from Disneyland were at. One of the twink dancers bragged to me and my friends about how the weekend before he was at a party in L.A. that the director of Usual Suspects was at and the white twinks, coke and meth were falling from the sky. The twink dancer said that Bryan Singer and his fancy Hollywood friends always throw parties like that and when I asked him to take me to the next one, bitch said, “Uh, you’re not white, skinny and cute enough, though.” Leave it to a bitchy blond Disneyland dancer with white highlights and blue contacts to save me from gay Eyes Wide Shut Hell.

The second, an anonymous comment left in an IMDB forum in 2012:

Bryan goes through different boys each week. He promises them big movie roles and then just drops them. He and Roland Emmerich have infamous pool parties with literally hundreds of twinks, you can easily find the pics online. Bryan also certifiably has a thing for young twins. A pair live in his house and I have more pics of him with some other twins… but aside from that it’s interesting to note that Shawn Ashmore (Ice Man from X-Men) has a twin brother named Aaron and his brother wrote a blog post and described that he use to live in Bryan Singer’s house. So while I have no proof that Bryan dated them, you should be able to put two and two together. Of course they are way too old for him now. Just like Bryan Singer dropped Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty after they became too old and Superman Returns bombed. What, did you think a 24 year old Dan Harris became the writer of X-Men 2 based solely on narrative talent?

Also, an old photo (top right) of Singer with a young model named Frankie Donjae.

UPDATE: Singer’s attorney has issued a statement, pointing to a similar lawsuit filed by Egan in 2000 that claimed he was molested by Marc Collins-Rector, for which he received a default settlement. Singer’s attorney claims the repeat allegations prove his client’s innocence and that Egan is “seeking to get his 15 minutes of fame.” He also revealed that Bryan Singer will file his own suit against Egan for “malicious prosecution”:

The claims made today about Bryan Singer are completely fabricated. We look forward to our bringing a claim for malicious prosecution against Mr. Egan and his attorney after we prevail. It is obvious that plaintiff’s attorney is not looking to litigate the case on its merits. This matter is nothing more than the attorney seeking to get his 15 minutes of fame by sending out a press release with his ‘media consultant’ yesterday and following up with a press conference today. Attorneys who try cases don’t hold press conferences.
