Church Cancels Gay’s Funeral

Most churches would leap at the opportunity to host a 46-year old veteran’s funeral. Texas’ High Point Church certainly did when it offered to send Cecil Sinclair off to the other side, but changed its tune after commemorative photos revealed Sinclair did dudes.

Reverend Gary Simons tells Dallas News:

Some of those photos had very strong homosexual images of kissing and hugging. My ministry associates were taken aback.

Can you hold the event and condone the sin and compromise our principles? We can’t.

Simons and his peers also objected to the Sinclair family’s request to lead the service, “We had no control over the format of the service.” You know how some of those Christians can be: total control freaks.
