Hahaha!!

Remember David Zucker, the director who said being a Republican in Hollywood has become so taboo that it's "the new gay"? Well, his right-wing comedy American Carol got whooped at the box office by Bill Maher's satirical look at religion, Religulous: "An American Carol brought in $3.8 million… Carol was shown on 1,639 screens. Bill Mahers Religulous was on 532 screens. And yet, so far it has made $3.5 million."

whooped?! american carol made slightly more money on a bit more screens. even in a very large midwestern town, american carol is only showing on one screen in the whole city. hardly a wide release.

just because it's right wing compared to michael moore's left wing movie doesn't mean you have to distort the facts.

sorry for the two posts in a row! i obviously was caught up in my right wing hysteria and forgot that the ridiculous michael moore is only lampooned in the first movie and had nothing to do with the second.
