House Panel Recommends Karl Contempt Charges

Could former White House Chief of Staff Karl Rove be going down?

A House panel Wednesday voted to cite former top White House aide Karl Rove for contempt of Congress as its Senate counterpart publicly pursued possible punishments for an array of alleged past and present Bush administration misdeeds.

Voting along party lines, the House Judiciary Committee said that Rove had broke the law by failing to appear at a July 10 hearing on allegations of White House influence over the Justice Department, including whether Rove encouraged prosecutions against Democrats.

The committee decision is only a recommendation, and it was unclear whether Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., would allow a final vote.

The Department of Justice's "misdeeds" include vetting potential hires' political affiliations and sexuality.

Karl Rove is a despicable, sad little man. His gay father would be ashamed of what a disgusting rat his son turned out to be. I hope he rots in a jail for the rest of his life!

Arrest Goebbels, the architect of the destruction of the American Constitution and the nightmare era of the "W" reign of terror.

This man is like a sever case of Ebola virus. It disappears then comes back to kill, again. He is a slimey vermin of a creature. Put a hockey mask on his face and bloody butcher knife in his hand and he becomes a double for Jason or Michael Myers with just as much chance of actually staying dead. Turd blossom, indeed.

Why won't the Democrats permit the impeachment of Bush and Cheney and convene an International War Crimes Tribunal? Oh I forgot, it's because Bill Clinton would have to be indicted as well.

Their refusal is unacceptable. A Nuremburg style indictment and trial would be the best legal venue to try Rove and his bosses.

Karl Rove. Makes you wonder if gay parenting isn't such a good idea after all.

Rove won't be punished by heteros, but next time he comes into a queer Leather Bear event…we have this motherf*cker.
Rove left a leather event in 2004 with the New Jersey Bear Daddy.
Karl, doesn't matter how long you wait to appear, we NEVER, EVER FORGET.

Grandma Pelosi says "play nice." I bet the Republicans are quivering in their boots.

Not…

Does she even realize that, as the leader of one branch of the U.S. government, she has political powers? Pelosi can send the Sargeant-at-Arms to arrest Rove the next time he's at the Capitol to lobby some corrrupt GOP congressman.

The DC Circuit Court of Appeals even told her that she has the authority to do this without a court order from (wait for it) a judge in the DC Circuit. But the Democrats quickly suppressed that little tidbit because they don't want to do anything that will "anger" conservatives. And they wonder why Americans think they're pussies.

This really is some kind of joke, you try and say, "I was out of town and can't make the hearing" and see what happens to you.
Arrest porky pig!
