In American Horror Story, Ryan Murphy’s new Gothic suburban thriller for FX, Zachary Quinto plays Chad, the former owner of the potentially haunted house that couple Ben and Vivien move into—and Vivien’s burgeoning gay BFF. We were worried Chad might be one of those Monroe Ficus wacky/fey neighbors sorts, but it turns out he’s getting a hunky boyfriend. Teddy Sears (right) who co-starred in The Client List and the Christopher Isherwood biopic A Single Man, will play the main squeeze. Given the show’s Lynchian vibe, though, don’t expect their relationship to be all cosmos and cupcakes.

To give credit where it’s due, the GLAAD award-winning “Beach Towel” campaign was from American Airlines, not FedEx (or “FexEx”). The picture just shows the ad appearing in front of a FedEx Office location.
