In June 2010, gay activist and former policeman Albert M. Toney III allegedly grabbed a male teenager’s butt inside of the Main Street YMCA locker of Massachusetts. The teen then went to his car and grabbed a bat and chain to retaliate against Toney, but an infinitely more reasonable person persuaded him to just file a report with the YMCA instead.
Toney was found innocent of indecent assault and battery on Thursday, partially because his accuser couldn’t remember details from that night—like whether he was driving a Mercedes-Benz or a Toyota Camry, two cars that look nothing at all alike.

@oinonio: I know that sounds weird, but believe it or not I’ve known people to carry such items as weapons if they drive through bad neighborhoods regularly. ( Though the bat might have been for baseball and the chain for tires; I know nothing about this case).
