Matt Lucas Divorce Nearly Done
Little Britain actor Matt Lucas will soon be single again:
Thirty-four year old comedy actor [Lucas] is getting a ‘quickie’ divorce from his 31-year partner Kevin McGee.His petition is listed with 30 others for pronouncement of decrees in matrimonial and civil partnership cases.
District Judge Bowman is expected to announce the end of the 22-month ‘marriage’ to TV producer McGee.
The couple tied the knot in a civil ceremony in December 2006, followed by a lavish pantomime-themed reception at a 17th century palace.
The couple separated in June.

Why exactly do you put the word marriage in quotes in this ‘post?’ By putting the word in ‘quotations’ you make it ‘sound’ like their marriage ‘wasn’t a marriage.’
