NAILED: Keith Phoenix Joins Hakim Scott With 37-Year Sentence For Hate Crime Killing of Jose Sucuzhanay

Sentenced today to 37 years, Jose Sucuzhanay’s murderer Keith Phoenix (on right), who together with Hakim Scott (also sentenced to 37 years) attacked Jose and his brother Romel in December 2008 after thinking they were a gay couple and then laughed about it, went “beyond the comprehension of any civilized person,” according to New York Judge Patricia DiMango.

Phoenix told the court: “I want to offer my deepest, humblest apology for the outcome of that night. I swear to God that is not what I intended to happen.”

The sick part is, I think the guy on the right might be a self hating closet case.

Enjoy the 37 years in jail dicks. Hopefully you find out what it’s like to have several people attack you.

One got charged with a hate crime the other got off (the initial assaulter), but they both received hefty sentences. I hope they repent during that 37 years behind bars. One of them said he is not the monster that they say he is, indeed he is, but he will have a choice whether he is still a monster after 37; 37 years that he denied the individual that he killed purposelessly in cold blood. What kind of skewed mindset are these individuals in that they think after murdering someone becuase they don’t agree with their lifestyle does not make them monster in every possible way the term can be expressed: unfortunately a mindset that has prevailed from the birth of our nation to present day.

I don’t know why murderers – nearly all of them – always go through that “I am deeply sorry and I regret” bit.

It’s not believable, it’s of no use, and it’s not going to bring their victims back. It’s a charade, and an entirely superfluous one.

Just another example of the shameful homophobia of the black community!

@ MOJOJOJO So there is no homophobia among the caucasians what a crass comment. Don’t forget the Westboro Baptist Church/Fred Phelps in Topeka, KS and Matthew Shepard plus many other examples.

“That is not what I intended to happen.” What DID you expect to happen, exactly, when you began beating the shit out of a complete stranger for no reason?

@MOJOJOJO: Is no one but Jason. So that explains the mindset.

@timucua: Mojojojo is a troll and a one trick pony whose stale “trick” is to accuse anyone of racism who acknowledges the fact that minority homophobia is widespread, damaging, and fatal. Even within those minority communities.

@L.: They’re not sorry they did what they did. They’re sorry they got caught and will be doing hard time.

Considering he’s not getting the chair, this glorified turkey baster got off easy.
