How do you cover up your worst mistakes? By calling your mistakes part of your “strategy”! That’s what RNC chairman Michael Steele is doing with the war he engaged with Rush Limbaugh, which had some in the GOP calling for Steele’s head. But it wasn’t a dick swinging match with Limbaugh, claims Steele; it was a means of checking out “the landscape.” He just wanted to see which Republicans would scream their heads off the loudest, and which would fall in line. So his apology to Limbaugh — who carries more weight among conservatives than Steele could ever hope to — was, uh, also part of that strategy. We’re assuming.
Yeah, it sounds real “strategic” of Steele to have to apologize to Rush Limbaugh after he stood up to Limbaugh. That did wonders for Steele’s appearance as leader of the GOP.
Epic fail? Yep! Yep! Yep!
BTW, did anyone hear that today the House GOP leadership released their economic plan for turning around the economy? Their plan is to cut taxes on the rich. Yeah, cutting taxes on the rich. Of course, they offered no details on how to replace the lost revenues such a tax cut would cause or how they would reduce the budget deficits, or stimulate the economy other than hoping the ultra rich will toss a few pennies at the rest of us.
Seriously, ketchup, it really is a vegetable. ;-)
I think he studied strategery with George W. Bush.
@Mike Barton: Please, lets try to give the man some ray of hope. Though you might just be right.
I guess now he knows he’s toast.
He will not be there for very long. None of the plans offered offer up much detail. They are all very nebulous
What a fucking clown this guy is.
He is so full of shit. He wishes he was that clever.
Michael please STEELE AWAY…STEELE WAY.. Because you haven’t got long to stay here!
