The sex appeal of new Massachusetts senator Scott Brown's isn't just limited to overpowering the normally invidious House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, but Rep. Barney Frank is just as susceptible to his hairy chested charm as the rest of yous.

Hysterical! Best SNL political parody since Tina Fey did Sarah Palin
Very funny stuff.
I strongly suspect neither Brown nor Frank thought the sketch funny, which makes me laugh even more.
No one will fund the research on the topic, but I honestly believe that the absense of a sense of humor is a psych disorder. My theory is that it's treatment-resistant. And I'm sure insurance won't cover the costs of the therapy……..
I think SNL is homophobic and all of the sophomoric humor is aimed directly at the New York Jewish population which doesn't translate to the rest of the country, including other New Yorkers looking for superior comedy writing on the level of Jon Stewart (who, yes does smart Jewish jokes) and Stephen Colbert. I feel like I have to have a brain lobotomy to enjoy their snarky humor which is totally misogynist, homophobic, racist and goes for the lets-make-fun-of-the-poor and disabled cheap shot. The State of the Union could have been much funnier as with The Colbert Report which was very tight writing and punchlines. It's not just the writers, the talent miss their marks a lot except Kristen Wiig and Bill Hader who stand out as those going on to bigger careers. Seth Meyers should lay off the coke, he comes across as The Joker's nice twin brother, smirking at his own delivery before we get the chance. He just can't act! Jon Hamm was a great guest performing mediocre material looking for a punchline. Mad TV at it's best was far better character-drawn performances than self-congratulatory SNL which sucks.
I agree – hilarious! Best since Palin parodies…
@dontblamemeivotedforhillary
You take SNL too seriously. And what exactly is a "smart jewish joke?"
LOL I think the phantasy of Sen Byrd was the funniest LAWLZ!
@Lukas P.: Brown is actually on record saying it was funny. He asked to host SNL, in fact.
@Dale: Where does it say Brown asked to host? I'd like to see that!
@dontblamemeivotedforhillary: What the hell IS "a smart jewish joke"???
It was pretty obvious, but funny.
So, Hamm shaved?
It was fun that Byrd's imagination was in black and white.
Who the hell's the guy playing Scott Brown? He's hot! Mmmmm…
@dontblamemeivotedforhillary: Your rant about Jewish New York hiumor shows you need to get a little education, an almanac, and a membership to ADL! It's a national show. If they want to get ratings, the should should be geared to NRA members and non-homeschooled Christians.
Yes — SNL has been a big barely funny mess for a long time but your blaming Jews is lame. Were you just focusing on those Super Jewesses Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, or were you including Ms Hadassah Wiig, and the rest of the Zionists under the direction of closeted yeshivah graduate Lorne Michaels?
See if you can answer a question: are there more Jews in NYC than Catholics? How about than Protestants?
MAD TV was funnier. Lemme guess: you think it was because they weren't trying so hard to impress the Hebrew School graduates. Did you know that Bobby Lee just pretends to be Asian? Real last name? Leebowitz.
See what you started?
@Dale: Thanks for the info — glad to hear Brown and/or his publicists keep a sense of humor! He's gonna need it.
Pretty funny. But in fact Scott Brown would be too old to turn on creepy Barney Frank.
If Barney really care about all of us , he would address this boomer problem:

So Funny and so true! It is really a shame that we're getting a Republican senator in Mass. I'm afraid the country will be in deeper trouble thanks to all those Republican hypocrites.
It was terrific episode of the show. Hamm was a great sport, goofing his image thoroughout. For those of us who never miss "Mad Men," and won't have any new ones now till August, it was a welcome winter treat.
Hamm is a great SNL host. Perfect timing for Hamm to host.
