Sen. John Ensign Isn’t Just An Anti-Gay D-Bag. He’s Also a Lying Sonofabitch
There is already plenty to dislike about Sen. John Ensign, the anti-gay Nevada politico who once called for President Bill Clinton’s impeachment — and then had an affair of his own. (Ensign’s defense rings familiar: “I haven’t done anything legally wrong.”) And then along came the New York Times nuclear report on Ensign’s clear violations of everything from ethics code to lobbying rules to his waning record as a human being.
The sad thing is…this stuff is horrible, illegal and happens SO OFTEN! Half of McCain’s staff have become lobbyists over the years and I’m sure that they waited at least….oh 24 hours before coming back to meet with him.
Whats stupid is the Senate will investigate and then pass a resolution saying “Tsk Tsk Tsk” and then do nothing and let him go back to work. They don’t punish one of their own for something like breaking laws, bribery etc… to your average Senator thats probably business as usual.
