South African Soccer Star Eudy Simelane’s Accused Murders Will Finally Stand Trial
Three men accused of gang raping and stabbing to death gay South African soccer player Eudy Simelane last year — which was only one among some two dozen documented lesbian “cure” murders — are headed to trial. When charges were first made last April, five men stood accused; one of the men delayed the trial last month when he revoked his witness testimony against three others.
