Navanethem Pillay, the United Nations high commissioner for human rights spoke there last month saying, “That just like apartheid laws that criminalized sexual relations between different races, laws against homosexuality are increasingly becoming recognized as anachronistic and inconsistent both with international law and with traditional values of dignity, inclusion, and respect for all.”
Apartheid: A system of laws applied to one category of citizens in order to isolate them and keep them from having privileges and opportunities given to all others.
Stop gay apartheid.
Warren will only be giving an invocation. It will last but a few minutes. Obama’s team was bamboozled by the man, as were millions of other people across this country. Charlatans do that, you know. They bamboozle people. They are good at it. Obama and his team are mere humans. They got bamboozled. This sort of mistake not only got noticed, but it did US A WORLD OF GOOD. It exposed Warren to tens of millions of people who otherwise wouldn’t have ever heard of the man. It showed the rest of the world the dinosaur he really is. Now Warren’s days are numbered. Numbered, in that he and his ilk are a dying breed. Their fake religion has been exposed. In a way, you can say it was a mistake that became a blessing. Really. I dare all of you to take away the GOOD that came out of this political mistake. I dare you.
The next day NO ONE will be talking about him. They will all be talking about and deconstructing Obama’s speech.
As they should.
If you are still talking about Warren on January 21st, you totally missed the point of the Inauguration.
