Things Soldiers Should Not Admit On the Web: Sharing Classified Information, Taunting Afghani Children

SPC Bradley Manning, a Army intelligence analyst from Maryland, is being investigated by the Pentagon for providing that classified air strike video to Wikileaks. He was turned in by “a hacker” he communicated with online, to whom Manning reportedly confessed distributing the video, among other classified records. And then there’s Lance Cpl. Lionel Garcia, a Marines equipment operator in Afghanistan (and not this guy), who’s under investigation after posting this message to Facebook: “Well I feel my work here is done. I officially made an afghani [sic] holdup a sign that says ‘I’m a faggot’ while I took a picture of him.”

Well, the OTHER Cpl Garcia, not the Texan who’s gunning for 1 mil friends, gets his jollies being a jerk. Did this Gracia write the sign? And, DUH?!, did this bully think the Afghan understood it? Garcia is a true frenemy.
