Adult film perform Silas, whose real name is Stephen Morgan, Jr., has died of an apparent drug overdose. He was 25 years old.
Silas passed away on July 8, but the news of his passing was just made public late last week.
Military Classified performer Rob Navarro tweeted the sad news, writing: “With a heavy heart I bring this disturbing news, one of my models, Stephen Morgan, Jr. (SILAS) passed away on July 8, 2019 of an apparent overdose, he was 25. In my 15 yrs online I’ve only sent 2 tweets like this…it’s never easy…RIP Silas, your beauty will live forever now.”

Silas was perhaps best known for his work with the adult site Military Classified. He also performed as “Eddy” at Cocksure Men, “Brad Davis” at Active Duty, and “Brad T” at Raw Castings. Most recently, he had begun working as performer at Boys Halfway House.

Stephen Edward Morgan, Jr., 25, of Orlando, Florida passed away Monday, July 8, 2019. He was born on July 23, 1993 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Stephen is survived by his mother, Kathleen Lahr (husband, John Lahr, Sr.); father, Stephen E. Morgan, Sr.; brother, John Lahr, Jr.; brother, Damian Lahr; sister, Carissa Wheeler; sister, Amanda Ross; sister, Olivia Lahr; and maternal grandparents, Douglas and Connie Artin.
Services will be held privately at a later date.

A model ? He was modeling sexual positions ? I’m never surprised when I hear of a porn actors death. ( notice I didn’t say “star “) its usually drugs or steroids…sad.. There’s always someone better bigger or hotter to take your place. That’s why they go from studio to studios . I feel for his family and his friends for their loss..might have been avoided…maybe. @ rough rugger: absolutely correct. But the stereotype of the addicted porn actor is necessary to allow certain judgemental people to feel superior to sex workers. It is more an issue that porn is an easy way to finance a drug habit than that porn leads one into drugs.

There is absolutely zero data showing porn actors are more likely to die than others. People die all the time. Drugs are a major issue in the US. It affects everyone, not just porn actors.

Is it dangerous, or is it also the fact that possibly it is a profession that somebody kicked out of their house who was young who wasn’t able to finish school, can easily get into without needing a high school degree. They don’t have as many life skills, they don’t have a diploma to qualify for many jobs, they get older, maybe they stop getting cast, deal with depression, or can’t afford PreP due to lack of insurance, get an HIV diagnosis or lose their apartment for lack of funds and think of suicide.
Or maybe it was an accidental O.D.
You never know what’s going on with somebody.

@Bromancer7 Honey, you are completely delusional if you think porn people are not exposed to more drugs than the average person “at work”. They are given drugs to loosen up, given drugs to keep them hard for hours at a time, given drugs to be able to have sex with multiple partners over a short period of time, and given drugs to return back to “normal”. Maybe not every time in every scene, but in plenty of scenes at plenty of studios. Do you really think people in porn walk onto a set, take their clothes off, and simply go at it for 6-8 hours? Do you??
