When former gay-porn star Marc Anthony Donais (a.k.a. No, the ‘Ryan Idol thing’ just went down; he’s due to be sentenced December 9, and could get up to 15 years.
These seven examples, while certainly disturbing, don’t necessarily convince me that current or former porn stars are any more prone to a concurrent or subsequent life of criminality. For every Steve Daigle and Ryan Idol, there are dozens such as Rob Cryston, Sam Crockett, Cliff Parker, Mark Kroner, Ray Harley etc., who seem to realize when it’s time to leave that particular ‘party,’ and fold quietly back into whatever anonymous, private lives they had before porn fame. Some, like Matthew Rush, Chip Daniels and Doug Jeffries go to work behind the cameras and have some success there too.
For most, however, if they avoid the brand of pitfalls in this article, and any untimely demise, they’re typically never heard from again.

Jake Lyons, a true fucking asshole if there ever was on, beat his own dog to death, then took it to a vet and said the poor thing, which only had three legs, had a seizure. The vet did an autopsy which determined that the poor dog died of blunt force trauma. That little shit beat and choked his dog to death! I hope somebody served him some low-down justice in prison. If he serves any time at all, whatever they do to him in prison is too good for that rat.

I watch gay porn perhaps more now than I ussed to, but I doubt if I could remember one adtor (star?)from another one since narrative and acting hare hardly the criterios I would apply. I admit to being a lot older than most of your readers so that could account for my ignorance. Having said that being arrested as a felon and having served time employemtn is difficult. I would imagine that the porn industry is more forgiving than the rest of the world, but ultimately I think it would have to be judged by the crime that was committed. First or even second degree murder, any kind of battery, etc. are crimes of a heinous nature. But many are locked up for crimes that are not violent yet the very environment they are living in is a horrible substitute for rehabilitation. If gay sex is a source of employment for this group, I see no problem–but I question manking it public knowledge.

The murder of Bryan Kocis (Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes) is a textbook lesson in how to get caught when committing murder. They left an e-mail trail and cell phone record trail contacting Kocis and scheduling to meet him at his (Kocis’) house. They stole his computer (thought it had the ‘only’ master copies of his videos, lol), set the house on fire to destroy prints/evidence, and were observed by neighbors who were alerted by Kocis’ loud fire/burglar alarm fleeing in their rental car – rented on one of their own credit cards. So they killed someone who had never harmed them, ruined both of their lives and all because they wanted some twink to work for their porn ‘studio.’ F-in stupid psychopaths.

However, after a year in the county jail, he decided to do some plea bargaining to get himself off and pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of involuntary manslaughter … and given just three years in the state prison and probation, and effectively becoming “a free man” for murder – when many say he should have been serving a life sentence or received the death sentence as, to Mr Kinkead’s friends, “it seemed that the infamous Tim Lowe had done what made him famous in the first place – he got off.”
