Opnely gay GOP presidential candidate Fred Karger has not yet appeared in any televised Republican debates, but Bryan Safi of Current’s That’s Gay could still vote for him—especially since Karger is the only pro-choice, pro-marijuana legalization, and pro-equality candidate on the GOP ticket. Safi’s talk with Karger probably won’t help Karger’s chances, but so far he’s definitely the most likable guy of the lot.

LOL gotta love Safi

“…Opnely” gay candidate………..sorry, I just couldn’t resist.
My real comment is that I also love Safi (but hate the new version of InfoMania).
Right Wingers Are Socioptahs (John From England)
Yeah Karger is SUCH a hoot! All that cutesy wutsey stuff he did towards human beings, the poor and gay rights whilst working for Reagan and Dubya snr! Oh and all that work he did towards AIDS…oops, actually he was in the closet. Actually he did nothing when Reagan went on his rampage.
And he finally came out after he was 60. What a guy. But hey, if gays are willing to give him a chance…..

Pro-choice, pro-decriminalization, pro-gay!
Remember when Democrats stood up for these ideas?
Me either.

@the crustybastard: Remember when Republicans stood up for those ideas?
Me neither.

Karger has at least one possibly fatal flaw (beyond the whole gay thing): Zero charisma.
No, I’m not saying it should be a contest of who is hottest. Charisma is more than just looks. I’m saying that even if all your policy positions are pitch perfect, you can still lose if you don’t have a natural magnetism.

@Elloreigh:
A reflexive gainsay that makes precisely ZERO sense in the context of the article? Well done!

Down with political parties and the 2 party system.
However if you must vote for the 2 party system why on earth do so many LGBT sell out and vote for partially supportive candidates like Obama instead of Dennis Kucinich or Mike Gravel. If you must vote for a Republican vote Fred Karger or Gary Johnson.

@jeff4justice: Very well said!
