Just last week, we brought to you a tale of macabre courtesy of Colorado state representative (and former military chaplain) Gordon Klingenschmitt, who terrorized the world with his giddily gruesome views that gay Boy Scouts leaders will be “hung around his neck… drowned in the depths of the sea.”

“If your boy is in one of these organizations,” he urged, “you need to get him out of there. Because what they’re going to do is promote homosexual men to mentoring and camping with your boys in the woods. And it will lead to child abuse… The children are in danger. It’s not about the sexual pleasure of the adults.”
Which is why it’s deeply perplexing, if not deeply surprising, that Right Wing Watch has now revealed Klingenschmitt recently featured a certain David Dorty on his video ministry Pray In Jesus’ Name News on July 16; an El Paso politician who has been twice convicted of sexual child abuse, once by a person in a position of trust.

It seems the difference is that Dorty and his posse assure that he’s been “reformed” with a little help from his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Klingenschmitt, who called Dorty a “new friend” during the segment, is now beginning to backtrack as this story makes the rounds. The Gazette reports that he’s now insisting he wasn’t aware of Dorty’s prior convictions at all.
“Last month we met Mr. Dorty for the first time at the Western Conservative Summit and interviewed him on our show,” he told the paper, “but of course he did not tell us about his past.” He said if provided with evidence of Dorty’s convictions — which put the man behind bars for nearly 14 years — he’ll remove the segment from his news archives.
Well, since Klingenschmitt clearly doesn’t know the subtle nuances of navigating Google, we’ve done a bit of legwork for him and tracked down Dorty’s Registered Sex Offender page.
“What it says to me is that Klingenschmitt’s hypocrisy knows no bounds,” said Amy Runyon-Harms, executive director of Progress New Colorado. “And I also find it stunning that the Republican leadership within his party hasn’t yet reprimanded him.”

Those who continue to claim that homosexuals are also pedophiles do not understand the distinction. In fact, most pedophiles are heterosexual. While the Roman Catholic priesthood seems to excel in having pedophile priests who prey on young boys, there is the occasional priest who molests young girls. I was absolutely delighted when my old scoutmaster called to say he was in town on business and invited me and my wife to dinner. My wife, sensing we would talk about things from long ago, declined. But I did join him. I was in my late 20s and he was in his early 50s. And I was more than pleased when he invited me to his hotel room following dinner for a liqueur. And more than delighted when he seduced me. Since my troop was a church-sponsored one, I had known this man through church, his wife and his 3 children, who were younger than I. After our pleasurable romp, I asked him why he didn’t make a move on me when I was in his troop. He laughed lightly and said, “Sorry, but I am not interested in little boys! I did think you might grow into someone who would appeal.” He went on to say that he was happily married and delighted in his children and his entire family life. The gay side of him would never dominate. But then, this was also at a time when few came out and many married chaps remained closeted for eons. This alleged minister is a phony. His words are designed to strike fear into the unwitting, FOX news audience member.

It’s 2015 and anyone who failed to do their internet easy background checking on a prospective employee, volunteer or professionally related friend is simply an ignorant fool. Maybe Klingenschmitt was hoping Dorty would introduce him to some of his little friends. You’d think that someone in Klingenschmitt’s position would be smarter than he is but. I guess the foolishness of his own words has proven that not to be the case.

The thing is, anything you see on the news about Child molesters seems to indicate that they are involved in networks with other child molesters so they can share files and information.
So isn’t it interesting that the two people that the Duggar father took his son to when the son molested those girls are child molesters? The FIRST TWO people that the Duggar Dad thought would be good to go to are both child molesters.
