It looks like David Beckham has some new competition off the field. Fellow soccer player, Cristiano Ronaldo, is launching a new underwear line called CR7, designed by Richard Chai. In the video above, Chai talks about collaborating with Ronaldo, who shows a vested interest in making his undies a success. Much like Beckham, the player graciously models the bulging potential of CR7.

@yaoming: Definitely better body than Beckham, not that I’m dissing David, just saying. But, does the world really need another underwear brand? I’m going to stick with Andrew Christian. Great undies, sexy ads, he is one of us, and I seem him out on occasion rubbing shoulders with the rest of us, like a normal guy.

Bitchy comments. Some of you should be so lucky to be athletically-gifted, world-famous and very wealthy. For the record, plucking eyebrows is a male European grooming custom. Ronaldo does not have tatoos because he donates blood periodically and the International Red Cross does not accept blood donations from tatooed people. He also donates money to dozens of charities and donates his time to many childrens’ charities. He’s one of the top three football players in the world and is admired by millions. Except here, among the tired, embittered, envious queens of Queerty.
